Team Bonding
Over the weekend our basketball team went to McConnell Mills for a team bonding session. It was a different way that our team had to bond, but it also was a lot of fun. We split into two groups when we first got there. The first group had to rock climb and work together to help one another climb up the rock. The second group got to work together and adventure through the trails and rocks. It was a good way to bond because we had to learn how to trust one another and guide each other throughout the day. Overall it was a fun experience and everyone on our team enjoyed themselves.
Weekend Diaster
Here is a lesson for everyone to learn from. Friday night me and my roommates decided to have just a few of our close friends over to hang out. It ended up being from a few of our close friends to about 60 people. I was having other issues that I was dealing with so I actually did not drink that night. About 11:15 (which was so early still) there were about 5-6 cop cars surrounding our apartment complex. All the cops came into our apartment and busted our party. Even though I didn't drink I still got a disorderly house because I lived there. They let us off easy because they didn't give out any underages but gave out disorderlys. I now have to pay $355 dollars for a fine and pay $45 for an alcohol class. So before you are thinking about having people at your place...think about if it is worth it or not!

Basketball
This was my first week of basketball conditioning. It has been a really tough week because we have conditioning everyday and it is never easy. We have a lot of new people and freshman this year and only 6 returners so our coach has to make sure we are in shape and the underclassman are ready for the season. I am looking forward to actual practices starting and for the season to start up.

Stress
I feel that sports can be a main cause to athletes and causing stress. When I went to the University of Delaware we had a minimum of 8 hours a day and I was constantly stressed to a point where I got sick. Since I have been here basketball is much better therefore my stress level went down. I feel that if people in the PE major or anyone in this matter that are thinking about becoming a coach, one should realize that putting too much pressure on an athlete can cause way too much stress which can greatly effect many things.
